The guided tours will start at the City Hall’s entrance, and will follow a tour of seven hotspots strategically placed throughout the old monastic dependencies and surrounding spaces, where participants will be able to compare the current reality with the corresponding situation in 1834, using QR Codes to be read by the participants' Smartphones and Tablets.

Organised tours require those interested to book their presence before 12 noon on the day of the tours by sending an email to visitasprojetosantacruz@gmail.com
 

PI's

Rui Lobo is a Professor at the Department of Architecture and a researcher at the Centre for Social Studies (CES), University of Coimbra. He is the author of several books and articles in the field of theory and history of architecture from the 16^th to 18^th centuries, published in Portugal and abroad, encompassing Portuguese architecture, university architecture and the architecture of the Jesuits. He is, since 2018, the Principal Investigator of the Santa Cruz Project, FCT project 30704.

Mauro Costa Couceiro is a Researcher-Collaborator at the Centre for Social Studies (CES) at the University of Coimbra and has taught and developed research around analogies between Biology, Architecture and Design, particularly in the interaction of analogical and digital processes and their technological applications. Holds a PhD from the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya and is, since 2018, Co-Principal Investigator of the Santa Cruz Project.

António Monteiro is currently guest lecturer at the Department of Architecture of the FCTUC. He was a lecturer in the Department of Architecture and Landscape at Escola Universitária Vasco da Gama, in Coimbra. He taught 3D Animation in the Art and Design course at the School of Education of Coimbra. Regularly collaborates with profissionals and organizations in the areas of Architecture, Drawing and Design. He was a research scholarship holder in the Santa Cruz Project between 2019 and 2020. In his spare time he dedicates himself to digital art, urban art and alternative themes, elaborating several proposals for exhibitions and artistic activities.

Miguel Alberto has a Master in Architecture by DARQ-FCTUC. He completed his Master's thesis on Contemporary Digital Tools in Research in the History of Architecture, defended in September 2020, as part of the Santa Cruz Project. He was a grantee of the Santa Cruz Project in 2020 and 2021, having largely developed the 3D model for the reconstitution of the Santa Cruz Monastery in the year 1834.
