Route: This visit will take place from Santa Cruz Park ("Jardim da Sereia") to Terreiro da Erva via the Old Cathedral.

Knowledges to be covered: transformations of the city, from the Medieval Era to the present day, and the links between urban green spaces and the health and well-being of those who live and/or work in the city.

Key-words: medieval collegiate; territorial and social analysis of parishes; heritage of the city of Coimbra; Medieval Age; Modern Age; local power and daily life of the city; urban biodiversity; urban green spaces; personal memory and collective memory; citizen participation; co-production of knowledges; active learning; context-based learning.

Target audience: kindergarten teachers and primary and secondary teachers of all groups, working or in initial training, and families.

Maximum number of participants: 20 | Approximate duration: 2 hours

 [Free but compulsory registration, limited to 20 places accepted on a first come first served basis. Each person must register; in the case of minors, the person responsible for the child/youth must register them. Deadline for registration: 23 November].
