Eleventh programme of a partnership between Radio Universidade de Coimbra and the Centre for Social Studies (CES). This collaboration is conducted through the  programme "Há Vida(s) Nesta Cidade!" and will take place on the last Saturday of each month, starting at 2pm.

Bio notes

Patrícia Silva
 is research fellow at CES where she is part of the coordinating team of the Humanities, Migration and Peace Studies Research Cluster (NHUMEP), of the advisory board of the e-journal 'e-cadernos CES', and of the organising committee of the advanced training cycle "Publish Do Not Perish: Survive the Stampede". Her research in comparative studies focuses on cultural networks and exchanges between literary and artistic movements in Brazil and in Portugal, and between these and European and Anglo-American ones. 

Maria Manuel Guilherme  is a researcher at the Centre for Social Studies, University of Coimbra since 2002, where she is a member of the "Research Group on Humanities, Migration and Peace Studies". She was a full time researcher for the CES-Associate Laboratory (2002-2007) and a Marie-Sklodowska Curie grantee (2014-2017). Her research interests are Intercultural Communication and Education, Plurilingualism and Intercultural Epistemologies in Transnational research, Teacher Education, Linguistic Policies in Education, Mobility and Ethnicity.
