June 26, 2021, 10h00-16h30 (GMT +01:00)
Online event
About
Since 2017, the northern province of Cabo Delgado, in Mozambique, has experienced extremely violent armed attacks, whose images have shocked the world. As the country celebrates the 46th anniversary of its independence, this seminar seeks to discuss, based on the analyses of colleagues who have been in the field, the root causes of this conflict. This set of analyses will support the contextualization of the conflict, helping to reflect on the dilemmas facing the construction of Mozambicanity.
Organisers and Coordination: Boaventura Monjane, Dulce Maria Passades Pereira and Maria Paula Meneses
