Synopsis: This session proposes to discuss the recent classification of the University of Coimbra Alta and Sofia, as a World Heritage Site in 2013. Without prejudice to other topics being launched into debate, we intend to discuss what are the challenges and risks associated to this process and what its potential impact on the university and beyond. Particularly on issues such as urban renewal and the valorisation of tthe city's  image. With presentations  and moderation by CES researchers, and  experts from the fields of Architecture, Urbanism and Sociology.
