Abstracts
The fifth seminars  series "Social Sciences and Health"  aims to present and discuss topics and issues of relevance towards the understanding of  the current state of the relationship between health and society. These seminars  will focus, in particular, the discussion of topics that  intned to frame, among others, some of the most critical issues that currently confront health systems, such as social inequalities and health, bio-medicalization of life and the evaluation of health care.
