Framework
What leads people to take responsibility for common goods and manage communal forests and pastures? Who are these people that, in the mountains of Portugal and Galicia, work every day to take care of territories in light of local needs and future generations? What opportunities and threats do the face in the twenty-first century? For the first time a documentary brings us the voices and the daily lives of seven villages, with academic contributions, which together tell us a story unfinished. 

Programme

Screening of the Documentary  "En todas as mans" (2015) on the reality of community territories in Portugal (baldios) and Galicia (montes veciñais en mancomún). Captions in english.  Presented by Rita Serra  and comments by José Maria Castro Caldas, CES researchers, followed by a Q&A with the audience and producers.
