This seminar intends to reflect on the Mandjuandadi groups, Abota groups and cultural groups as loci of community practices for the funding of access to health care services in Guinea-Bissau, used especially by women. the goal is to to analyze, although not thoroughly, the dynamics of mutual aid, albeit not originally created for fundraising. Survey data, direct observation and semi-structured interviews in the Central and Southern regions were used as research tools. This work was developed under the project "Gender and therapeutic pluralism: women's access to private health sector in Africa".
