The second session of the Coffee and Books activity will take place at the North|South Library of CES. This is a symbolic space, the most appropriate and welcoming place to talk with the guests who come to satisfy our curiosity about the books of their lives. In May, the guests will be Berta Teixeira, José Luis Cabaço, José Manuel Mendes and Laura Cavalcante Padilha. As Professor Cabaço puts it, at the heart of Café-com-livros is “the important discussion on how, at crucial moments in our lives, books become privileged partners in the dialogue between ourselves, our anxieties, our search”.
