Studies on deinstitutionalization and on relations between mental
health institutions, on the one hand, and patients and their families,
on the other, are in its early stages in Portugal. This project thus
seeks to contribute to their development. The output of the
project will include: the impact on the definition and
application of policies, the evaluation of the intervention profile of
mental health professionals; the involvement of mental
patients
associations and families; the sensitization of communities to mental
health problems; the dissemination of good practices concerning the
articulation of mental healthcare providers; the contribution to the

Resumo: O projecto Novas
Poéticas de Resistência: o século XXI em Portugal é um projecto
interdisciplinar que inclui quatro áreas de conhecimento: Estudos
Literários, Estudos de Tradução, Sociologia e Linguística. Debruça-se
sobre políticas de linguagem, nomeadamente, sobre algumas linguagens
que, das suas margens produzem o centro, ao mesmo tempo que lhe
resistem, servindo “o que não é” (Dante), reinventando e investigando o
espaço do excesso (Lecercle) em que ainda reside toda a linguagem
desaprovada, reprovada ou ainda-por-provar (Howe). Nesse espaço se
fundam as infinitas possibilidades para as sempre “novas poéticas de
resistência”: no experimentalismo; no esforço, simultaneamente
inevitável e impossível, da tradução; no reconhecimento da incompletude
de uma hermenêutica dia(multi)tópica exigida pelo multiculturalismo,
pela emigração, pelo bilinguismo; na pesquisa etimológica – com base
numa sociologia das ausências (Sousa Santos), na permanente e
inevitável procura de uma linha de fuga (Deleuze e Guattari) que,
porque sempre em processo dinâmico, só pode levar ao nomadismo, ao
descentramento e à desterritorialização da língua e da identidade que
nela se constrói.

a equipa portuguesa participa activamente em dois dos cinco work

do trabalho das equipas e envolvimento dos diversos actores
interessados nas reuniões regionais a realizar no âmbito do WP0.
