CONTENTS
Multiple interdisciplinary perspectives of trauma and its consequences. Support associations.
Each trainer will make a presentation of about 60-75 minutes, plus 15 minutes for discussion.

Specialist in Clinical Psychology.
Hospital Assistant at the Coimbra Hospital and University Centre (CHUC).
Integrates the Intra-Hospital Support Team in Paediatric Palliative Care (EIHSCPP) in the Coimbra Paediatric Hospital.

José Carlos Rocha
José Carlos Rocha was born in 1973 in Porto, where he studied Clinical Psychology and concluded his PhD in Biomedical Sciences (Psychology), under the supervision of Constança Paúl. She was trained in Cognitive Narrative Psychotherapy with Prof. Óscar Gonçalves.
Since 1997 he has been dedicated to clinical practice and research in Psychology of Trauma and Grief, starting with perinatal mourning, having reached a position of European leadership as a member of the scientific commission of the European Meeting for Psychosocial Aspects of Genetics. He has developed projects towards the adaptation of scales for the assessment of bereavement, traumatic stress, for children and adults, and complex traumatic stress in adults. In parallel, he has developed manuals for cognitive-narrative intervention in various contexts of bereavement that have been empirically validated. Today he leads the Trauma Sensitive Contexts Capacity Building and Certification project.
He was coordinator of the clinical research area at CESPU, in which he was founder of a research group in Psychology and Health. He is founder and clinical director of the Centre of Psychology of Trauma and Grief CPTL.
At a European level he has implemented several train-the-trainers courses, he is the founder of the Bereavement Network Europe, he is the national representative of the European Association of Clinical Psychology and Psychological Treatments and member of the International Trauma Consortium.

Margarida Gaspar de Matos
Margarida is a Full Professor with Aggregation in International Health at the Faculty of Human Motricity (FMH), University of Lisbon. She is senior researcher at the Environmental Health Institute of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon. She is scientific coordinator and psychotherapist in the Projeto Aventura Social/ASA - Clínica.
She has a degree in Psychology in the Clinical area from the Instituto Superior de Psicologia Aplicada and a PhD from the FMH in the speciality of Special Education and Rehabilitation, with work in the area of the study of social behaviour disorders and interventions with young people of school age. She has done post-doctoral training at the University of San Diego, Leidsehogeschool/Leiden, School of Public Health and Queensland University of Technology (QUT), School of public Health (Brisbane/Australia).
National coordination of several international and national projects, with European funding (FP7, EEA grant and H2020; HBSC, Kidscreen, DICE, RICHE, TEMPEST, Y-Sav, Mocha, EsCool), and national (IDT, CNVIH/SIDA; ACS, ME, DGS, Casa Pia, ACM). He has several publications with FI /ISI (H = 24) more than 200 publications in peer reviewed journals, several books and book chapters.
Several collaborations with national and international evaluation agencies in the area of research and several collaborations with government agencies in the implementation and evaluation of programmes.
Member of OPP and OPP representative at EFPA, coordinating the Prevention Board and promotion Steering committee of EUPHA/ Children/adolescents
