Ana Lucia Santos holds a degree in Philosophy at the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Coimbra and an MA in Feminist Studies from the same university. Her topic was intersex with a thesis entitled "A sex which is many - the (im)possibility of the intersex as a human category". |

Pablo Navarro holds a doctoral degree in Philosophy. His thesis focused on the concept of performativity in Judith Butler´s work, and he is is the author of a book on the same topic (Del texto al sexo. Judith Butler y la performatividad, Egales, Madrid, 2008). He carried out a postdoctoral research at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, where he teached the course "Sexo, género e identidad. Introducción a la teoría queer (Sex, Gender and Identity. An Introduction to Queer Theory)". His recent work has addressed issues like queer masculinities, the use of performance in social movements, queer activism and radical politics of the street. Nowadays, he is a research fellow at the project "INTIMATE - Cidadania, Cuidado e Escolha: A Micropolítica da Intimidade na Europa do Sul". |

Hélia Santos Hélia Santos was the Research Manager of INTIMATE — Citizenship, Care and Choice: The Micropolitics of Intimacy in Southern Europe (Grant nº 338452) between 2014 and 2015. She holds an MA in Sociology, "Postcolonialisms and Global Citizenship", from the Centre for Social Studies and School of Economics, University of Coimbra. She is a junior researcher at CES since 2003, and has been working in project management since 2012. |
