My Thesis/ProjectPOSTER
The “my Thesis/ProjectPOSTER” is an initiative of the III CES/ Doctoral Colloquium: Coimbra C-"State of siege, States without site", which is intended to contribute to the dissemination of CES PhD students, researchers and post-doctoral fellows/affiliates’ themes and areas of study.
How and what are they for?
The above mentioned poster, in A2 format (identical to those used in the dissemination of CES seminars and conferences), in addition to containing a brief description of the ongoing PhD theses and/or research, aims to share interests and goals, among Colloquium researchers and participants, such as: willingness to participate/integrate projects; International exchange; bibliography exchange; contact with researchers of the same area, etc.
Who may participate and how?
The “my Thesis/ProjectPOSTER” is an initiative exclusively directed to the CES community: PhD students, researchers and post-doctoral fellows/affiliates.
Those interested in participating in this initiative need only:
i) Fill out a registration form, available at the Colloquium website www.ces.uc.pt/coimbrac, and include abstracts, goals and information to be disclosed;
ii) Register and pay in one of the following options:
-15 €, for those who only wish to register in “my Thesis/ProjectPOSTER”;
-10 €, for those who are also registering in the Colloquium.*
* In this option, the total amount payable to register in the Colloquium and in “my Thesis/ProjectPOSTER” is 25 € (respectively, 15 € and 10 €).
Where will they be displayed?
The “my Thesis/ProjectPOSTER” will be displayed November 9 and 10, 2012, in the Colloquium movement areas, and presenters who wish to be close to the posters may exchange ideas and share information.
How is communication with the participants in the Colloquium facilitated?
In addition to including the researcher’s name and contact details in the posters, near each poster a mailbox will be made available, where information, such as business cards and short messages, may be dropped. The Colloquium organization will, later, forward the information to the participants.
