Walking tours organized by Högdalens Vänner (Friends of Högdalen) & Cyklopen Kulturhuset.

In the suburbs of Stockholm a constant struggle of deterriorialisation and reterriorialisation have been ongoing for many years. We will dive into the classical modernist suburb Högdalen where public housing is sold out to IKEA with rent spikes as a result, where a squat protesting the destruction of the neighborhood created a Peoples House of Högdalen last summer and where the self-built and self-organised social center Cyklopen is blossoming.
Field trip 2:
Urban gardens and grassrooots practices of commoning
