Seminar Series Presentation

This seminar series aims at enlivening the research agenda of the Democracy, Multicultural Citizenship and Participation Group and to consolidate its interdisciplinary and intercultural perspective. The goal of each session is to discuss work in progress that is directly related to the main areas of the Research Group.


Format

The paper presenter will be asked to briefly summarize (15 minutes) the main argument; this summary will be followed by an extensive commentary (30 minutes); finally the discussion will be open to all the seminar participants and the paper presenter will have time to respond to questions from the floor and to elaborate further on his/her ideas (60 minutes);

Seminar participants are expected to read the paper before the seminar. People who want to participate and read the paper in advance should send an e-mail to tuesdayseminar@ces.uc.pt.

Presentations will be either in English or Portuguese.
