Biographic notes

Claudia Mazzei Nogueira is Professor at the Socio-Economic Centre (CSE), Department of Social Service, Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) and Coordinator of the Labour and Gender Studies Group, at the same institution. Author, amid others, of the following books: - A Feminização no Mundo do Trabalho: entre a precarização e a emancipação, São Paulo/ Campinas: Autores Associados Publishing House; - O Trabalho duplicado. A divisão sexual no trabalho e na reprodução: um estudo das mulheres trabalhadoras no telemarketing. São Paulo: Expressão Popular Publishing House. Member of the Editorial board of the journal Margem Esquerda (Boitempo Publishing House), of the journal Nuestra América, Rome – Italy and the journal Katalysis (UFSC Publishing House).

Ricardo Antunes is Full Professor of sociology at the Institute for Philosophy and Human Sciences, UNICAMP. Was visiting Research Fellow at the University of Sussex, England. Ricardo Antunes was distinguished with the Zeferino Vaz Award from UNICAMP (2003) and the Chair Florestan Fernandes of CLASCO (2002). Is researcher at CNPq. Author, amid others, of the following books:  - O Caracol e a sua Concha: Ensaios sobre a Nova Morfologia do Trabalho. São Paulo: Boitempo Publishing House, 2005; - Adeus ao Trabalho? São Paulo: Cortez, 13th edition, (also published in Italy, Spain, Argentina, Colombia, Venezuela and Mexico); - Os Sentidos do Trabalho. São Paulo: Boitempo Publishing House, 10th edition (also published in Argentina and Italy). Presently he coordinates Colecções Mundo do Trabalho, by Boitempo Publishing House and Trabalho e Emancipação, by Expressão Popular Publishing House. Collaborates in national Brazilian journals (Margem Esquerda) as well as foreign journals (Latin American Perspectives/ USA, Proteo/Italy; Asian Journal of Latin American Studies /South Korea; Herramienta/Argentina, amongst others.
