Abstract
The automobile industry – paradigmatic in the adoption of organizational flexibilization and the labour processes in the 90’s – has the effects of globalized markets in local labour relations and labour institutions, inducing fusions, contractions and articulating different decision levels, besides drawing out a new worker profile. This conference will focus on the role of this industry, having for reference the labour processes in Brazil.
