The author, born in 1963, is a poet who was founding member of the Coordination Council of the journal Charrua and also leader of the AEMO (Mozambican Students Association). He has over ten books published, is a collaborator, among others, to Mozambican, Angolan, Brazilian, Portuguese, French and Russian press, and has also incursions in dramaturgy. Since 1987 he won various literary prizes.
