First-hand report of a life dedicated to FRELIMO: from Air Force pilot to teacher of Mozambican Institute of Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania, Jacinto Veloso fougth for the independence of Mozambique, conducting missions in several countries and getting in touch with other countries’ wars, mostly African countries. After the independency of Mozambique he was the Minister of the Presidency for Economic Affairs. In this book he argues that “Remembering Mondlane is to remember a past with a dimension of future” and he still believes in the arranged assassination of Samora Machel.
