Memórias do Combatente intends to contribute to the flux of literature on the historical process of the liberation struggle of our beloved homeland from the colonial command with the purpose of elevating the knowledge of the Mozambicans about the complex and difficult path of the National Liberation Struggle, so that the patriotic spirit of the Mozambican can be consolidated as an inspiration to the new challenges of the tough fight against poverty, our national agenda. With the experiences and episodes of Jorge Dick, that transformed his Memórias nas Zonas Libertadas de Tete, are described important moments of the political and military scenery in the Liberation Struggle of our country.”
