This works consists of more than 70 poems of someone who is one of the biggest Mozambican poets and journalists. José Craveirinha was incarcerated by PIDE and during prison was able to secretly write poems and prose. “In 2002 he was elected member-correspondent of the Lisbon Academy of Sciences. In that same year, the University Eduardo Mondlane presented him of an Honoris Causa”. “He was the first President of the General-Assembly of the Association of Mozambican Students and President of the General Assembly of the Mozambican Association for the Portuguese Language. In his last years he occupied the position of Vice-President of the Portuguese Language Bibliographical Fund. He was given important prizes”.
