Roxana Gabriela Andrei


Roxana Andrei has a continuous experience, since 2004, in the field of conflict management and regional security, peace building and human rights with a keen focus on post-conflict developments in the Balkans and in the Caucasus. She has an MA in Politics and Economics in Contemporary Eastern and South-Eastern Europe (Macedonia University, Greece), a BA in Political Sciences (Babes-Bolyai University, Romania), and a Post-Graduate certificate in Human Rights (University of Strasbourg, France), being currently a FCT fellow with the University of Coimbra, PhD Programme in International Politics and Conflict Resolution. Since 2008, she has been working for the European Court of Human Rights of the Council of Europe. Starting 2004, Ms. Andrei has coordinated numerous international projects funded by the Council of Europe and the European Commission, as well as regional development programmes as Programmes Director of the Metropolitan Development Agency Brasov in Romania and Project Manager with CeRISS Athens. Among the academic works, her essay on "Corruption in Ukraine: Challenges and Perspectives" has been awarded by Transparency International in 2014.
