Sometime during the undergraduate course in Languages and International Relations at FLUP (University of Porto), a local young man discovered Social Sciences. Within them, a home for the desire of understanding of the human world, as well as the construction of ideas about its improvement. In November 2017, having finished the master's degree at the same faculty, with a thesis on the Social Condition of Women during Estado Novo (Portuguese 20th century dictatorship), the road took a turn towards the private sector, in the form of Consultancy for Social Economy and Communication for International Organizations. In the following year, a previously deep-rooted appeal for investigation in Sociology uprooted within him, bringing the young man to Coimbra and CES, thus granting him the possibility to take part in the construction of a fairer society, through the SUPERA project - Supporting the Promotion of Gender Equality in Research and Academia.
