Alfredo Campos


Biography

Alfredo Campos is currently a self-employed data analyst and PhD researcher at the Center for Social Studies at the University of Coimbra. He previously was Local Technician, Nucleus Manager and Sub-Regional Delegate at the National Institute of Statistics and scientific research fellow. Graduated in Sociology from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Coimbra, specializing in Sociology of Work and Pricing, he holds a Master's Degree in "Labor Relations, Social Inequalities and Unionism", at the same institution, dedicating his dissertation to the study of labor relations in scientific research laboratories and scientific employment. He is currently a PhD researcher in "Human Rights in Contemporary Societies", also in Coimbra, studying factors of segmentation of working conditions. His current research interests are centered on the sociology of work, employment and organizations - with emphasis on the analysis of working conditions - on methodology for analyzing quantitative data and on demographic studies applied to urbanism.
