Luca Sebastiani


Graduate degree at Università di Bologna (2006), MA in Applied Social Sciences (Migratory Studies, Development and Social Intervention, 2009) and PhD in Social Anthropology and Cultural Diversity (2014) at Universidad de Granada. I've done research stays in Brussels (2011), Bolonia (2012) and Coimbra (2013). I have been teaching Social Anthropology to graduate students and Research methodology (online course) to Ph.D. students. Member of Migration Institute at Universidad de Granada, participant in the project: "Emergent Processes and Agencies of the Common: social collaborative research practices and new forms of political subjectification" (CSO2014-56960-P, main researcher Dr. Aurora Álvarez Veinguer). Currently postdoctoral researcher at CES and member of the work team of POLITICS project: "The politics of anti-racism in Europe and Latin America: knowledge production, decision-making and collective struggles" (725402 - POLITICS - ERC-2016-COG. Main researcher: Dr. Silvia Rodríguez-Maeso). Current research interests: racism and antiracism, globalization and transnational migrations, migration and integration policies, collective action and social movements, militant and collaborative research.
