Firmin Dusabe


Biography

Firmin Dusabe is a Postdoctoral Research at Centro de Estudos Sociais (CES, University of Coimbra), where he is developing a project entitled "Migration et participation politique: comparaison de l'impact de l'immigration sur les processus de démocratisation en Afrique de Grands Lacs". He is also associate professor at Universitat de Barcelona (Department of Political Science, Constitutional Law, and Philosophy of Law). He is professor at Institut Superior de Ciències Religioses de Vic (Barcelona). Researcher and member of GESA, Grup d'Estudi de les Societats Africanes (African Societies Study Group), a consolidated research group from Universitat de Barcelona. Researcher visiting the Institut Catholique de Kabgayi (ICK) - Rwanda. He obtained her PhD in Political Science (2016) from Universitat de Barcelona (UB), with a thesis on "The Rwandan diaspora In Belgium. Transnational political actors in the democratization of Rwanda". Qualification obtained: Excellent Cum Laude. He attended a Master's degree in Immigration Management (2012) from Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF), Barcelona and Bacherlor's degree in Philosophy (2011) at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB).
