Ana Filipa Neves
Biography
Ana holds a PhD in International Politics and Conflict Resolution from the University of Coimbra. She concluded the European Master's Degree in Human Rights and Democratisation, organised by the Global Campus of Human Rights, with thesis developed at the Danish Institute for Human Rights, in Copehagen. She holds a Certificat d'Études from the University of Louvain-la-Neuve, in Belgium. She graduated in Law at the University of Coimbra. Ana is a researcher (postdoc) at CES, currently, working at the Permanent Observatory of Justice. As a researcher, Ana is member of the Portuguese team of FRANET, EU Fundamental Rights Agency's multidisciplinary research network. She was a researcher at the Human Rights Centre, at the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra (2008-2019). Her main research interests are: international migration; refugees' protection; asylum and international protection policies; cosmopolitanism.
