Jan Helge Solbakk, University of Oslo
What does integrity and goodness in research entail? What characterizes a good researcher? To address these questions a typology of goodness proposed by the Finnish philosopher Georg Henrik von Wright will be introduced and applied. In addition I will present and discuss a so-called Advice Paper, ‘Towards a Research Integrity Culture at Universities’, newly published by The League of European Universities.
