The team is experienced in researching gender, sexuality and/or disability issues with a particular focus on citizenship and embodiment (Fontes, 2008, 2009; Martins, 2008; Pinto, 2008a & b; Santos, 2004, 2011). This is an interdisciplinary team – anthropology, disability studies, gender studies, philosophy, psychology, social policy and sociology – and includes researchers at various stages of their career path, as well as doctoral and post-doctoral students.
