Integration into Research Grants

In response to the invitation of the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), in the extent of the Commitment with Science, CES has attributed, since 2008, grants with one year duration to students in higher education in the early years of their degree and with good academic achievement, enrolled in national institutions of higher education, public or private.

The Integration into Research Grants (BII) pursue the promotion of student contact with scientific activity and the development of critical sense, creativity and autonomy through their integration in I&D project teams. Each grantee counts on the supervision of a CES doctorate researcher.

CES has already attributed, up to the moment, grants to 39 students in higher education.

The 17 students of the first edition will share the conclusions of their research period in the CES research groups and observatories, in a seminar intituled “Researching at CES: living experiences”, to take place on November 12th, 2009.
