Abstract
This book finally addresses what can be called "Angolan cinema" following the general scenario, in two volumes, on the prehistory of what can possibly be defined as a cinema that comes on from a nation, Angola.

Jorge António works with cinema and audiovisual. He has collaborated with Paulo Branco, Atalanta Filmes, Cunha Telles, Shots, Arca-Filme, Latina-Europa,  the Gulbenkian Foundation, RTP, Camões Institute, Rosa Filmes, Cinemate, LxFilmes amongst others, Portuguese and foreign, in over forty productions, such as: Filha da Mãe, Non, ou a Vã Glória de Mandar, Lusitânea Expresso, Pop-Off, Corte de Cabelo, Suspiros de Espanã, Macadam Tribu, Morte no Estádio, The Boy and The Sea. He participates in Portugal and abroad in Meetings, Conferences and Workshops on cinema. Collaborates regularly in book and journal editing: Revista de Cinema, Cinema em Português, Cartazes de Cinema, Cadernos de Cinema, Cinema em Angola, Dicionário da Lusofonia, Cena Lusófona, Boletim IACAM, among others.
